Women's Ministry

MISSION STATEMENT

To study the scriptures in order to grow closer to Christ's standards for our lives as women.
To understand our roles, as women, within and outside of the church setting.
To grow in fellowship with our sisters in Christ.
To reach out to the community in service.
To be prayer warriors for each other, the church and the unsaved.

We seek to accomplish this through:

Monthly Ladies Meetings
Times of Fellowship
Biblical Study of Women in the Bible
Monthly Service Projects to Community Ministries
Group Prayer and Encouragement
Annual Ladies Retreats

The Women's Ministry is an excellent way for women in the church to become involved in ministry and to work
toward transparent relationships in order to grow as women and sisters in Christ. We meet as a group monthly
beginning with a time of coffee, desert and genuine fellowship. A few "get to know you" games are played. Then
we move into our Bible Study on one of the great women of the Bible. We study their character, their
relationship with God and their role as women waiting for Christ. Usually, a testimony is given by one of our
members in order for us to get to know each other better. Finally, we all participate in a monthly outreach for a
local or foreign ministry. Collecting snack items for Daybreak's after school program and making sandwiches for
Steak Mart's ministry to the homeless are examples of how our small group of ladies can make a big impact.

Other activities include weekly luncheons at local restaurants, movie nights, celebrations and our famous annual
ladies retreat at Fairhaven Ministries in Tennessee.
