| Dr. Chuck Parker Interim Pastor |
Chuck Parker grew up in Monroe, N.C., and trusted in Christ after
hearing the gospel in college. He is married to Michele Guillard
Parker, and they have four children ages 16-22. After completing
his undergraduate degree in Engineering, he pursued
theological education at Westminster Seminary and
concomitantly completed the requirements for admission to
medical school. In 1985, he joined the staff of New Life
Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Philadelphia, PA. He was ordained
in 1987. After serving at New Life for seven years on the staff, he
began medical training at Temple University. From 1992 until
2000, he served bi-vocationally at New Life Church.
In 2000, he and his family moved to Lexington, South Carolina, to
care for aging parents. He works as an internist at Internal
Medicine Associates. In the fall of 2006, he was invited by the
elders at Covenant Community Church to serve during a
transitional period between full time pastors. He is now serving
CCC as a part time Assistant Pastor.
